Travel Day Update

Well the day so far has gone pretty well. Everyone got on their intended connecting flights with the Detroit flight having pushed from the gate and awaiting their take-off. Their flight as of this writing has been delayed to depart at 1:23pm and arrive in Detroit at 3:17pm. The Portland 2 have yet to depart but are currently on schedule and will be resting at the Central Office bayit(house) in Brooklyn. The buses departed a bit late but otherwise despite the rush of flights, this morning went pretty well. The Seattle flight apparently is coming in 30 mins late and as such might cause some delay in getting to Vancouver. The Shippen's will be in touch with an update. It's hard to believe its almost over but don't worry I'll be posting at least once more!

Michael - THANK YOU! It has been a thrill for us to follow the journey from our own home. This kids are back, they cried and laughed and it all means that they grew close. That's the real success and the true evolution of a schicva, and I feel lucky to have been able to watch it unfold.

Now we'll find out if the blogs were all true!

Thanks, again - GREAT JOB!!

Is there a way to print out the daily journals? I tried once, but only the top entry printed. I didn't think to do it each day.

Michael,

Our daughter, Jillian, returned yesterday from MBI 2007 and has been regaling us with stories of her incredible trip.

Thanks to you and all who helped make this such an informative and exiting experience. The trip provided a wonderful combination of interesting and thought provoking activites; sightseeing; many new friends; and offering a truly positive and highly emotional "Israel" experience.

Many thanks,

Michael and Cheryl Levick

I would like to thank everyone involved, especially Mike and Leon and the madrichim. The logistics of travelling around with 169 kids and pulling it off must have been quite a challange. Phil had an amazing summer and certainly experienced Israel in a way that no other program would have allowed. Thank you again for a great summer.
